BBQ Cook-off
The 2011 Fayette County Fair BBQ Cook-off will be held on Sunday, September 4th by the Fair Pavilion.

Due to the dry conditions, all teams will be required to:
- provide contained/covered fireboxes for creating hot coals,
- provide a fire exteniguisher for your site.
- Entry fee: $50 per primary category, or $90 for all three categories (Beef, Pork Ribs, Chicken); $15 per category for pinto beans and chef's choice
- Turn-in Times: Chef's Choice at 11am; Pinto Beans at noon; Chicken at 1pm; Pork Ribs at 2pm; Beef Brisket at 3pm
- Teams will consist of a Chief Cook and four (4) team members.
- Cash awards and trophies will be given in each primary category (Beef, Pork Ribs, Chicken)
