Fair Queen Contestants

Each year, in conjunction with the Fayette County Fair, organizations around Fayette County sponsor young ladies as contestants for Fayette County Fair Queen. Throughout the summer, these Queen Contestants work diligently to sell fair tickets in hopes of earning the title of Fair Queen for that year. The Queen Contestant selling the most tickets is crowned Fair Queen on the opening evening of each Fair. All Fair Queen contestants are awarded scholarships for their participation in the contest and their support of the community and their sponsoring organization. Last year, over $20,000 in scholarships was awarded to past Fayette County Fair Queen contestants and other scholastic and community leaders around Fayette County.
